Glass Study Space is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official service of Southeastern Louisiana University or any other institution. No grade, exam result, academic outcome, uninterrupted availability, or AI accuracy is guaranteed. The operator's legal identity and active contact must be provided before public enrollment or sales.
Only record or upload material you have permission to process. Follow your institution's recording and academic-integrity rules. Review AI-generated answers, formulas, and deadlines against original materials; AI results can be wrong. Access is personal and must not be shared or resold.
Permission to attend a class does not automatically include permission to record it, send it to an AI provider, or redistribute the recording or generated material. Obtain all required instructor, speaker, participant, and rights-holder permissions, and follow applicable recording law, accommodations, course rules, and institutional policies. Do not upload restricted exams, other students' work or confidential information without authorization. Do not use the service for cheating, impersonation, unlawful surveillance, infringement, or attempts to bypass security or service limits.
You retain whatever rights you hold in your sources. You authorize only the processing and transmission needed to perform your requested features and operate the service. Uploading does not give us ownership of your course materials. Generated output may be inaccurate, non-unique, or incorporate protected source material; no exclusive rights or clearance are promised. Review exports before sharing and obtain necessary permission. Do not imply university endorsement.
The proposed semester pass is US $39 for 112 days from payment, with no automatic renewal. It includes 40 uploaded-audio hours, 160 standard study generations, and 80 explanations. A one-time week pass is US $8.99 for seven days from payment, with 3 uploaded-audio hours, 12 standard generations, and 6 explanations. It does not renew automatically. A complete set of Summary, Concepts, Cards, and Quiz uses four generations; a combined practice exam uses one standard generation. Exam written-answer marking is self-assessed using AI-generated rubrics, not an official or independently verified grade. Saved-result viewing, quiz retries, local recording, and backups do not consume allowances.
Optional advanced credits are $12 for 40: slide-based study uses one; Deep study uses four. Advanced requests do not consume standard generations. Extra transcription is $9 for 20 hours. Add-ons require an active semester pass and expire with it; they are not available on week passes. Taxes, if applicable, are shown at checkout.
Uploaded originals are limited to two hours and 120 MB each. The browser converts audio into chunks of up to 10 minutes. Standard source text is limited to 100,000 characters and a conservative model-context bound. Slide requests have an approximately 10 MB encoded-content limit and a 90,000-token input limit checked by the provider. Oversized requests are rejected; source material is not silently dropped. Output limits prevent runaway charges. Saved sources remain on your device.
Provider failures before generation release the request allowance. An interrupted connection with uncertain provider usage may temporarily reserve that allowance and require support review. Invalid study output does not use a study generation. For a purchase made through our checkout, email support within seven calendar days and request a refund. We will approve that request for a full refund, including if you simply changed your mind. We aim to respond within three business days; payment settlement timing is set by the card provider. A full or partial refund revokes the corresponding pass or add-on rather than prorating access. If you seek only a partial refund, discuss the effect on access with support before it is processed. Contact support about incorrect charges, unavailable paid features, or uncertain allowances. Applicable consumer rights remain unaffected.
Keep full .lsbackup files outside the browser; they include recordings and attachments and are not encrypted. In the workspace choose ••• → Back up everything → Save full backup, then transfer the file privately and choose ••• → Restore backup on another device. GSS does not automatically sync lectures through a GSS or Google account. Clearing cookies and site data can erase the local library; clearing browsing history alone is different. Without a backup, lost local lectures cannot be restored by an access key or purchase email. An access key enables paid service use on another device but does not transfer lectures. Saved lectures remain accessible after pass expiry while local browser data remains available. The service may limit requests to prevent abuse or protect the configured operating budget. An active support contact must be provided before selling access. Abuse or security incidents may lead to restricted access; contact support to dispute a restriction. Mandatory refund and consumer rights remain unaffected.
Send privacy, security, copyright, or billing concerns to the support contact with the affected feature and a brief description. Avoid attaching private course files. GSS currently has no public content-hosting service; exported files are controlled by their recipients. A copyright-report channel must be active before public launch. These preview terms do not impose mandatory arbitration, a class-action waiver, an indemnity, or a fixed liability cap. Governing-law, liability, seller-identity, and dispute provisions require review for the actual operator and launch markets.
We will date changes and give notice of material changes before applying them to future purchases. A policy update does not silently change the duration or allowances of an existing purchased pass.
